Wandering around Lisbon to the beat of fado music and walking along its charming, narrow streets with their clothes hanging out to dry and small local shops is a great way to start discovering Portugal. The capital competes in charm with Porto, another beautiful city bathed by the River Douro. We recommend you visit the Bolhao Market or Do Barreda districts in Porto, where you can try the salt cod and sardines and other typical Portuguese dishes. Sintra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Évora is a southern region famous for its medieval villages. The historic Campus of Coimbra or the canals in Aveiro, popularly known as the Portuguese Venice, are also places that are worth a visit. In Madeira the scenery and vegetation are truly unique.

The official language is Portuguese. People who attend the public normally have good knowledge of English and Spanish.
